WCG Group D: who will pass on?

WCG is CLOSE with capital letters. In group D we find eight players, where six of them are known and more or less top ranked. Who will pass this "group of death"? Let's take a look and state a hypothesis.

WCG Group D
Croatia 4K.Zeus[19]
Denmark MYM]Ciara
Jamaica NA-JA
Mexico Raspot
South Korea SK.Lyn
Lithuania srs.Lose
South Korea SK.SoJu
China WE.Sky
Subgrouping
In the group we can divide the players into four subgroups. For starters, we'll sort out NA-JA and Raspot immediately, as they won't have any chance on taking either of the top two spots. These two make the group of "Last positioned".

Let's call the second group "Middle placers". In this group I'll put MYM]Ciara and srs.Lose, as I have a feeling neither of those two have what it takes to actually take down the powerhouses. On the other hand, they will both easily win over both NA-JA and Raspot.

Next group goes under the name "upsetters?", where we can position two elves, 4K^Zeus[19] and SK.SoJu. Which then leaves us with both WE.Sky and SK.Lyn as "Favorites".

Last positioned: NA-JA, Raspot
Middle placers: MYM]Ciara, srs.Lose
Upsetters: 4K^Zeus[19], SK.SoJu
Favorites: WE.Sky, SK.Lyn

Moreover, I'd gladly share why I think like this.

Last positioned

To be honest, I've personally never heard of these two, no offense. As this probably is the hardest group, I do not see them taking even one match from any of the other participants. If they do, the opponents that loses might as well say goodbye to a top spot.

Middle placers

I do have lots of respect to Ciara, but let's face it - he just isn't at the same level as some of the others here. Moreover he has to face three good Night Elves, which could prove to be a very though thing. Lose has been a talent, but fact is that he hasn't showed himself very much lately. Maybe he has been practicing a lot for this event, but it's the same that applies for Ciara - he simply can not beat those powerhouses.

Upsetters

I cowardly made this group just to save my own skin. Zeus is known for doing really great at offline events, you might remember last time when he placed very up high, even when no one expected it to happen. He might do it again, but I fear he probably won't.

SoJu is really the one that could break the whole hypothesis. However, he has been on a little up and down ride lately, and I do not have a lot of faith in him. Maybe he will prove me wrong, but on the other hand - he is not really one to rely on right now.

Favorites

WE.Sky might not be in the best of shapes, but facing the fact that he is the two-times winner of this event, not passing the group would be a huge failure for him in most eyes. Placed 1st or placed 2nd, he will pass the groupstage no matter what it takes.

SK.Lyn has shown great results lately, so I hope and believe that he will make it trough this group. SoJu will be a dangerous enemy, and he better watch his every step. If Lyn doesn't make it, SoJu will. If SoJu doesn't make it, Lyn will. I'd rather put my gold on Lyn.
