SK Gaming was celebrating it's 10th anniversary some time ago, and still is! After several smaller things for the community, they are now organizing a LAN tournament with invited top players.
Today SK Gaming announced it's 10th Year Anniversary tournament. It will be hosted in CS 1.6, FIFA 2007 and WarCraft 3 and takes place in Cologne, Germany. GIGA and GIGA2 will broadcast several matches and report from the event.The tournament is going to take place this weekend, and next to the three eSport disciplines there will also be a soccer tournament between the participants.
SK already announced two of overall six WarCraft 3 players that are invited, and noone else than WCG03 winner Insomnia and the Undead legend MaDFroG (picture) have accepted the invitation. Obviously SK counts on some legends in WC3 and it will be very interesting to see the other four players in the list.
The WarCraft 3 tournament will be played in a group stage where the winner is the one with the most points in the end, so everybody will face ever yother player once.
In CS 1.6 the first of four invited team is - as expected - SK Gaming's own CounterStrike team, the first of four FIFA players is the current world champion SK.hero. Although the tournament is not that big as others, it looks like it will become an interesting event.
SK's manager Alexander T. "TheSlaSH" Müller-Rodic explained the tournament system and gave several information about the tournaments in a video message, which you can find on SK-Gaming's website.

Today the next two WC3 players have been announced! Take a seat and hold yourself, one of the craziest guys that have been around in the scene is back for SK's birthday tournament - HeMaN. Next to this SK.Lyn will participate, although he won't play in LAN but online.
In CounterStrike they added one of the best teams in the world, PGS, while in FIFA SK.sty!a will be the second invited player.
As you might already have noticed SK has got a poll on it's page changing pretty often, that asks questions like "Which race should HeMaN try?". The players that already appeared in this poll have been Insomnia, SoJu, HeMaN, hero, sty!a, except SoJu everyone has been revealed as a participant yet - might we see SoJu being invited tomorrow? If the polls and SK 's tournament are linked, will the players be forced to use the race that was voted most in these polls?
A few questions have been answered in TheSlasH's second video message on SK's homepage, but the poll has not been a topic yet - let's see what comes up tomorrow!
