Starting the WC3L season with five straight losses, Defining Stars were quite a disappointment to the scene. But now it seems their luck has turned as they beat wNv last playday and most recently World Elite.
At the start of this season's WC3L the main lineup of Defining Stars, shortened defs, consisted mostly of Korean players. It was an interesting squad, but there seemed to be something lacking as the team lost their first few matches. They still managed to get a handful of points, though, since they lost by 2 to 3 in four games. However, the team was situated at the lower end of the table. The team acted to improve it's situation by adding two highly skilled Europeans to the squad - TeRRoR and Deadman. At first not much improvement was seen, but the last couple of playdays they broke their losing streak by beating the two Chinese teams wNv and World Elite. Both recruits have shown that they're improving fast.
In yesterday's game against World Elite they shocked the Chinamen by winning closely, 3-2. Although TeRRoR did well by beating suhO and helping to secure the 2vs2 win, the man of the match was undoubtly Rainbow. The Korean has shown some sheer quality all season, taking down players like mouz.Fly100% and wNv.TH000 and only losing to 4K^Grubby and NoA.Space. Yesterday, he proved himself once again by taking down the reigning WCG champion Sky.

Since JuSt dropped out of the league, Defs doesn't have a match next playday. Will they be able to preserve their form until Playday 9's encounter with SK Gaming?
