As we've seen proof of the last year, the Chinese Warcraft scene is growing at an immense speed. Yesterday, the groupings for the China eSports Games in Wuhan were released, in which we find a lot of familiar names, but also a good few unheard of.
Since the introduction of the CEG, a handful of Chinese talents have developed rapidly and some of them discovered by the top teams in world. A living proof of this is mouz.Fly100% who made his breakthrough at a CEG tournament and is now in Leipzig doing incredibly well for his team in the NGL-One playoffs. It is indeed an interesting concept, inviting some of the world's best players to give the Chinese talents oppurtunity to test themselves against the top.
The next stop for the Chinese eSports Games will be the city of Wuhan, where a tournament consisting of 37 players will be held between the 25th and 27th of August. Among the participants we find players such as the home favorites WE.Sky and wNv.xiaOt as well as foreign players such as Bet.FoV and fnatic.RotterdaM. The groups were recently released and can be viewed below.
