Insomina and Xlord dominates in Spain

SK brings home the bacon from Gamegune 2007. Thirteen players participated in the tournament at the event Gamegune in Spain, competing for €5.000 in prize money.

Among the players we found both newcomers and more well known people. The matches was played during this weekend in Spain at the Lanparty GameGune and some of the best WarCraft players were there to compete for the prize. This year the total amount was as much as €5.000, but the creme de la creme was no where to be seen - apart from the SK boys and the fnatic representant Naniwa.

The tournament was played as a double elimination and divided into four groups. Two from each group advanced and the only players to win all their matches during the group stage were the three from SK Gaming.

The last tournament's champion srs.Lose made it to the final stage but he fell flat. The winner of the tournament, Insomnia, fought his way trough the Loser Bracket after being defeated by Xlord in the Winner Bracket. Insomnia had no trouble advancing to the Loser Bracket Finals, defeating Naniwa, and then to the Grand final. Well in the final he had to face his clan mate XlorD again and managed to win in two straight bo3 and brought home the first prize.
