PGL: FoV, Sky, Moon, Infi advance to Top 8

To determine which players are to follow ToD, TH000, Grubby and Sweet to the knock-out rounds, matches today were in the form of Double Elimination brackets.

Moon was down, but got up on nine.
SaSe, Ace, suhO and xiaOt will have to say goodbye to PGL, as they were the bottom four.

Top favorite Moon was close to being eliminated as well, losing to Sky in the upper bracket. Though after taking down xiaOt from wNv he secured his stay in China for one more day. wNv.xiaOt was 1-1 with the so called "fifth race", but in the third game Moon secured the win.

The young Chinese player Infi continues to do well in the tournament. He lost 1-2 to Moon in the first round, but then took down SaSe with a clear 2-0 score, and in the final round he defeated his clan mate suhO. This has definitely been Infi's tournament so far, but how far can he go when the knockout rounds start tomorrow?

Tomorrow is when the real fun begins. Each day one player will be eliminated. The Top 8 will play in a regular bracket round. First round there will be four matches; you win - and you're safe. If you lose you will have to play the other losers - and until there is a single player left that has not lost a match - the player with the worst record each day will be eliminated.

And that's how the system works all the way until the 25th of July, where the Top 4 will been determined and the semi-finals can begin. Each semi-final is played best of five.
