As the qualifiers for the twelvth WC3L season rages on, the two teams Designed Ninjas and Colorful have, sadly, been disqualified from the competition for seperate reasons.
The Russian team Designed Ninjas, or dNi, were disqualfied from the ongoing WC3L qualifications last Friday. According to WC3L's website this was because their players were representing other teams in individual tournaments as well as bad behavior. This means that their opponent in the first round, pod.hama, receives a free win and advances to the 2nd round where the mighty mouseSports awaits them.
Only yesterday it was also announced that the talented Chinese team Colorful will also be excluded from the qualifiers. Even though they had more time than most teams to update and sort out their ESL account they failed to do so in time and has now faced the consequences. This gives MeetYourMakers' Scandinavian squad a place in the third round of the winner brackets.
Besides these incidents, the WC3L XII Qualification has given us many interesting and exciting games and will proceed on Friday with the 2nd round matches. Hopefully, we won't see any more teams getting disqualified.
