WC3L: Playdowns finished

Last Wednesday mouz battled WE.int for a place in next WC3L season, and on the day before yesterday fnatic did the same against the new mTw squad. The two losing teams will have to struggle through the qualifiers if they wish to particpate next season.

The four teams who were placed 7th to 10th in the previous WC3L season were "qualified" for the season playdowns. MouseSports, who finished 7th, took on 10th placed World Elite.int whereas mTw fought fnatic. The two winning teams would secure a place in the next season of the WC3L whereas the two losers found themselves in the upcoming qualifiers.

The playdowns are now over and the two winners are mTw and WE.int. mTw has shown good results lately, wheras their adversaries in fnatic seems to be slightly out of shape. The old school Brazilian player PaTo paved the way for his team by winning both his 1vs1 and the 2vs2 game.

Mouz were the big favorites against the international squad of World Elite. But with solid performances from WE's Night Elf players LiiLD.C and DieSeL they managed to overcome the mice 3 to 1, which was a bit of an upset.

We would like to congratulate mTw and WE.int for qualifying for next season and we wish fnatic and mouz the best of luck in the upcoming qualifiers!
