WC3L Online Playoffs approaching

This Friday, the WC3L XI online playoffs kicks off with the Koreans in Team NoA facing the mighty 4Kings. On the following day, 4th placed wNv will face SK Gaming.

The European team 4Kings, with world class players like Grubby, ToD and Creolophus in good shape, have been looking sharp lately. On friday they will fight Team NoA for a place in the offline finals of the Warcraft III Champions League (WC3L). Even though the all Korean team NoA lost their Human star ShowBu (also known as Swain) a couple of months ago, they should not be underestimated. They managed to overcome both mouz and WE.IGE Asia in the last two playdays of the regular season with much thanks to strong performances by the Night Elf player Shy.

In the other playoff match, wNv Warcraft faces SK Gaming in what should be a very interesting encounter. wNv has a truly amazing squad with their key players being FoV, xiaOt and the innovative Human player TH_000. SK on the other hand has alot of experience in players like Insomnia, Deadman and Miou which might prove deciding in an important game like this.

WC3L XI Playoffs:

• Team NoA vs. 4Kings - Friday 5 P.M.
  
• wNv Warcraft vs. SK Gaming - Sunday 6 P.M.

The two winning teams will advance to the offline finals, but that's not the only thing at stake - as you can see above, it will also be a struggle between Asian and European teams and therefore some extra prestige might also be at stake. We clearly have two very exciting games to look forward to at the end of this week.
