This season's giants - World Elite Asia, won nine games out of eleven, only losing their last two games. This was probably due to the fact that they decided to use all their Chinese players, who haven't seen much WC3L action during the season, instead of their Korean stars, such as ReMinD and Lyn. Even though WE lost two matches, they still remained on top of the compeitition.
In second place, we find last year's runner-up MeetYourMakers, who only lost to WE this season. With players like Moon and Lucifer, nothing but a top placement was expected. The fourth place went to the Chinese team wNv. Before the qualifiers, the team recruited a strong team and it seems to have payed off well.
Two teams we'll also see in the online playoffs are SK Gaming and Team NoA. After losing their Korean star players, many thought that SK would have a rough season, but their new German players have done well and, with help from experienced players like Insomnia and Deadman, the team performed above expectations.

The teams placed 7th to 10th will participate in the playdowns. Only two will with certainty be in next season while the other two will have to go through the qualifiers just like the last two teams.
