A couple of days ago we got some information from ClanBase about the 4,000€ in prize money for the cup, sponsored by the site PokerStrategy.cc. Now they have announced some more information.
There will be a total of 24 players invited by ClanBase, but to make it more interesting they will host three tournaments, where you can qualify. With eight spots for every tournament, there will be 48 players in EuroCup. The tournaments will be held at these times:
» #1: March 26 2007, 256 slots in the tournament, 8 for EuroCupTo point out the matter of how good you play, they make the tournaments Single Eleminition, with all matches played in best out of one games. This doesnt just make it hard to win one of the spots, it also makes you really prove that you can be on the top of your gaming at all times.
» #2: March 28 2007, 256 slots in the tournament, 8 for EuroCup
» #3: March 30 2007, 256 slots in the tournament, 8 for EuroCup
They also tell you that you have to make an account at both ClanBase.com and Gamesports.de. To participate you need to go the GameSports registration page and then fill in the player ID of your ClanBase account. After it's been approved, you're all set to play.
