Mouz's newest recruit KnOfF won the H2K Gaming Cup, defeating Muggy in the final.
- It turned out to quite an easy win, says the Swedish Orc player to GosuGamers.
The tournament included 16 players from across Europe, among them Sweden's new dominator KnOfF who has been showing good results, taking down Happy and xiaOt in WC3L, just to mention some. Yesterday he won the H2K Gaming Cup, and GosuGamers caught up with Fredrik "KnOfF" Knopf.

Congratulations for winning! How does it feel?
- Haha, feels good I guess, not the biggest tournament around though. Many of my favorites to win were eliminated quite early so it turned out to quite an easy win. Satiini played reverse race against Crimson and lost.
It seems like they decided to pick up the semi elite or like up and coming players, except for some players as Satiini. You had quite an easy way - who was the toughest?
- Yeah, exactly. My toughest match was probablty the first one. I was sure that I would win easily but I played pretty bad early on and lost two grunts while he didn't lose anything. But I played pretty much perfectly the rest of the match and I managed to win. But the rest of the matches were easy, I won the semi final 2-0 and the Grand Final 3-0.
You won a Sennheiser 161 and a QPAD bundle. Will you switch to these when you get them or will you use what you're having now?
- Hmm, I will sell the stuff. I'm waiting for my products from Mousesports. Gotta get used to playing with their keyboard and mousepad because I'm not allowed to have anything else offline. There are a lot of LANs in the near future, so might as well get used to it.
Any LANs in particular?
- I will prepare mostly for DreamHack, but I'm also going to a LAN in Uppsala called Birdie (a bit smaller one).
How do you like it in Mousesports so far? They treating you well?
- I like it a lot actually. They are very nice. I haven't had time to talk that much with TitaN and Happy, but the rest of the guys are really cool! Gnollman and HasuObs are tow really nice guys. It's also fun playing with SASe, but SaSe I've known since before so I haven't had time to talk with him that much now since I joined - because he's in China.
Do you expect to be in the first-hand lineup more?
- Yeah that's what I'm hoping for. And I'm pretty sure that I will get to because Fly has a lot of trouble with his internet and can therefore not perform as well as he does on LAN. Mouz needed a strong Orc with a good internet for WC3L, so I think I'll perform and do what it takes to be in the lineup.
Are you satisfied with what you have performed in Mouz so far?
- Hmm, haven't hda any match for Mouz so far, so it remains to be seen in WC3L but so far I've been playing good versus other team members so they probably don't doubt my skills.
We wish KnOfF the best of luck in the future, and hope to see him in more WC3L and NGL-One matches.
