BadTroopa is the manager of TeK-9.wc3. The clan started off a little bit so and so, but grew stronger. Something happened, though, and they felt they needed a big change in the team.
That is the shortest summary of the TeK-9 Warcraft team you can come up with, and that concludes pretty much the whole history of the team. One thing that's always been the same in the team, however, is the manager: BadTroopa. The German has always stood behind the team, and his struggle really seems to have paid off now, when they recruited the American based team, formerly known as avant-Garde.
The team is playing in, among others, NGL2, and is aiming for WC3L just like anybody else. In the interview MeetYourMakers just released you can read answers to any question you can think of, from how he picked his nickname to what his dream team would look like. Here is a short snippet from the interview:
Can you tell us a bit about the deal with avant-Garde, the management of Tek-9 fired the entire team leaving two players and then one left? Describe what exactly went down.
Of course. After the ASUS Winter 2006 SDmK and DoLLaR decided to leave because they received a better offer. This also meant the departure of Ginsash, because all three are actually close friends. With Darius and Fighter inactive we only had GravuD, JorGa, TechnoBoy and DaNNy left, so we discussed the future of the team. With their departure restructuring of the team was needed to keep up the activity and level of play, which means that a significant number of players will be leaving the team. It's not a thing we like doing, but unfortunately it had to be done. After that we decided to focus on taking in a full team instead of building a new one, and in the end we decided to make aG an offer, because of their potential, stability and friendship, which perfectly fits the idea's of the TeK-9 organisation.
