"Is awarded to an individual who has superior gaming technique, good manners and displays great sportsmanship."
The time has come to crown the Gosu Gamer of the Year 2006. Over 15 players were nominated, showing how tough it is to set a winner.

Sky
He has done what no other WarCraft player have done before; won World Cyber Games twice - and in a row. His stable Human play style has not only earned him these titles, he was also the winner of the PGL Invitational, defeating Fly100% in the final. He also showed great performance in the recent IEST tournament, but lost in the final against a steaming hot Moon. Xiaofeng was one of the most important players in the World Elite roster.
Grubby
2006 was perhaps not Grubby's best year looking at his medal and trophy list. Although winning World Series of Video Games, defeating Sweet in the Grand Final. Also taking home the Vsports Allstars tournament, another tournament held in the USA. Manuel was awarded eSport Player of the Year at the Games Convention. Only losing one game in the WC3L Season 10 shows what a solid player he is. He also has a very professional attitude toward the game and the media.
Moon
Referred to as "the fifth race" by some proves that Moon is an extraordinary player. With his revolutionizing Night Elf tactics he has one of the biggest fan bases and is often mentioned when people are discussing who the world's best player is. During 2006 he won WC3L Season 9 and NGL-One, the latter with a broken arm, with his team MeetYourMakers. He also took three individual titles, namely GGL DigitalLife, IEST 2006 and WC3 World War.
Sweet
Sweet is one of many great Undead players from South Korea, if not the greatest. Getting recruited to SK, with their cooperation with BeT, in 2006 gave him even more publicity than he had gotten before. The highlight of Sweet's Warcraft III year was probably when he won Blizzard Worldwide Invitational by beating Grubby in an exciting final. Another noteable top3 placement was at the WSVG Grand Finals where he placed second, only defeated by Grubby.
Lucifer
Lucifer had his big break-through in 2006 by taking his first major individual title when he won ESWC. Known for his great control of the Undead race he is a part of the backbone in his team and helped them securing the "double" (WC3L and NGL-One). Except for being a world class 1on1-player he is also a feared 2on2-player and has shown great results with both Moon and Susiria as his partners.Links
