hoorai becomes PiG and CanucK rejoins

[s]clan_news[/s]

The team captain of former hoorai, Newbie, says in an interview with Jaclyn Lo that the team will stick together. They now play under the tag PiG.

Some teams break apart just because they are unable to make it past the qualifiers. I don't think it would be a too negative result if we were unable to qualify for the WC3L season, but it's something certainly we don't want to do.
The WarCraft 3 team was dropped because of hoorai's restructuring plans. Though the team has been through a couple of name switches before - Good Game League, United 5, hoorai - and now PiG.
It was speculated that the team might disband, but the team manager Newbie says that they are a very tight group of friends.
- We simply decided to just move onwards as we normally do, as a family, he says.
With leaving the organization, their former Canadian member CanucK comes back. After a sejour in verGe Gaming he is now a part of the eight-man lineup.

The favourites in the upcoming WC3L match

PiG are waiting in the loser bracket of the qualifier tournament for the eleventh WC3L season. They are waiting for Serious Gaming and verGe Gaming to play their match. And no matter the opponent, Newbie feels they are favourites.
- I don't think anyone can say that we're not the favorite, he says.

He also reveals that they are in contact with several organizations. Newbie says that an American organization would be a personal preference for where they end up, but that it does not really matter. They are looking for a team that can help them attend as many events as possible, plus allowing them to spend time out of the day to practice to become better.
