The Chinese player Yellow has been recruited by one of the best teams in the world - MeetYourMakers.

A recruit to MYM's WC3 squad is not something one can witness every day - but today it has happened. It is the Chinese player Yellow that will be playing with the MYM tag in the future. Yellow, who could be seen playing for LanFan in WC3L, got kicked from LanFan after almost four months in the team. Since then it has been quiet about him, until today.

Storm gets competition

Storm has played most of MYM's matches during the 10th season of WC3L and contributed with points that lead MYM to the offline playoffs. But now, with Yellow trying to earn himself a starting position in the lineup, he might not get as much playing time as before. Since teams seldom put two Human-players in the lineup, we can expect hard competition between the two of them for a starting position.

Is he good enough, or is it just a PR trick?

The growing WC3 scene in China is a well known fact and it gets bigger and bigger every day. For example, the two European top players ToD and SaSe moved there recently to pursue their dreams of a full time Warcraft-career. MYM, known for their smart marketing strategies together with their partner Dreyer & Kvetny, wants to be a part of this growing scene since there are money to be made. The question is: Was Yellow recruited for his skill or for MYM to gain popularity in China?

Nordahl, the manager of MYM's WC3 team, had the following to say about the new recruit:

"I am very excited about adding our first chinese player. MYM has for a long time been looking to expand into China, and with the addition of Yellow it is safe to say that we have taken a first step player wise. So I invite everyone to welcome Yellow to the team."

MYM is currently playing NGL-One and WC3L. It is remained to be seen how much Yellow will get to play in those leagues.
