TGL's qualifier will begin next week, with 24 teams hunting for one of the 12 spots in the league's first season ever.
Not long ago we reported about the 24 teams that got selected for the qualifier for TGL's first season. The staff of TGL has now officially started the qualifier by posting the bracket and other interesting information such as prizes for the top teams.

Half of the teams won't make it
In only a few weeks from now the current 24 teams will become 12, which is the exact number of teams that will get to play in TGL's first season. The first round of the qualifier is single elimination, which means that if a team loses in the first round they are completely eliminated from the qualifier. Round one starts on Monday the 18th and ends on Sunday the 24th.
The winner of each match in the first round will face one of the eight seeded teams in round two. From there, double elimination is applied and the teams will battle it out against eachother until there are 12 teams left.
Prizes for the three best teams
TGL has managed to obtain SteelSeries as their sponsor and they will provide prizes in form of headsets and mousepads for the three best teams. The distribution of the prizes are as follow:
