fnatic.Rotterdam takes down Mouz!

[s]event_332[/s] Tonights NGL match between Fnatic and Mousesports was predicted by many to be one-sided in favor of Mouz, but Rotterdam surprised us all by winning three straight games which secured the win for his team!

Most people using our GosuBet had spent their gold on Mouz, probably counting on Sase to participate. When the lineups were presented at NGL he wasn't within the rosters, probably because of his visit to China.
Instead fnatic's Orc star Rotterdam showed great shape and stole all the glory after wiping out three players from Mousesports roster. He entered the game when the score was 1-1 after win by fnatic's Xyligan and Titan for Mouz.

We sat down for a while talking with Rotterdam, mostly concerning todays match in NGL, but he also gave a open-heart view upon the Ladder Season 4 Finals in Stockholm where he ended with the disappointing score of 0-4.

From disappointment to Man of the Day!

GosuGamers: Congratulations to your victory against Mouz! What was your expectations before the game?
- We expected to win, after we took down SK, WE and 4K we were confident we could beat mouz also, and so we did.

GosuGamers: The odds at GosuBet was in 70% favor of Mouz, any comment on that?
- No idea why the odds were so high against us, on Readmore.de it was even 85/15 while I think fnatic showed to be a very strong team in NGL format. I would imagine it should be 50/50 or something but those odds are pretty high so no, I have no idea.

GosuGamers: You mentioned the NGL format, what makes fnatic so strong in matches using this single elimination system?
- I think it is because our players are not that consistent. Sometimes Duck has a super day, sometimes Xyligan, sometimes Satiini and sometimes me. With this system we can compensate each other's bad days and give strong individual performances.
Also we think quite well when to use someone etc, I think there are several factors but i also believe we would do better in Wc3l format now then we used to do.

GosuGamers: You are currently at the number one spot together with WE in NGL, in front of teams such as 4K, MYM, and Mouz. Would you belive me if I told you this a few months ago?
- *laugh* No I don't think so. I really hoped we could be part of the top teams for real this season, but going this good is something I didn't dare to predict either. But we are very happy with it and hope to continue like this. The best is that we are ranked 1 even if we played (with all the respect for the other teams) the heavy teams such as MYM SK.Int WE.Asia 4K and Mouz, so I really think that if we don't mess up we can easily make it to the top 4.

GosuGamers: How about your own performance today? Must have felt pretty good after the "Ladder Season 4 Finals" in Stockholm where your results maybe not matched your expectations?
- Ladder Season 4 went pretty much as I expected, which will be surprising for people to read but I don't lie when I say that I never went to a tournament with such a bad feeling. I didn't play so much before the tour because I played to much poker. I felt very insecure about my chances and that went into my head which made me play even 10 times worse than I should. Basically everything went wrong. But it was a good experience, since I'm back and pretty much stopped poker and playing more Warcraft again, not as much as i used to do but a lot more then before Season 4 Finals. For that reason todays result surprised me, in a good way of course. But I also know that with some bad luck I could have lost to Titan today and it would be still bad, it's all close to each other but at least I'm going the right way.

GosuGamers: Speaking of Poker, did you win any money with Duck at the Casino in Stockholm?
- *laugh again* We didn't go to the casino, but we did play some fun poker with Fire, Shocker & Duck, and yeah I won. I just told them that I wanna do this properly and it ended up all good for me ;-)

GosuGamers: Last question, will we ever see you back at top 10 of our GosuBet?
- Not yet but maybe soon!
