Miou defeats Insomnia in first Masters match

Extreme Masters launched yesterday with the first match being played at Intel Friday Night Games in Berlin. German player Miou took down his clanmate Insomnia 2-0.

Miou played Insomnia in the first Extreme Masters game. 
And so the long wait is over. Extreme Masters has started, one of the most exciting European 1on1 leagues for a long time. Boasting with a prize pool of 34,000 € to the WarCraft 3 tournament only and the best players in Europe, this event is an interesting one to cover.

Yesterday the event officially started with a nice opening party. In Hamburg, the first Intel Friday Night Game was hosted, where ESL had invited the two first contestants in WarCraft 3 and Counter-Strike. For WarCraft 3 the two players from SK-Gaming Miou and Insomnia were the first to give the fans in Hamburg a treat of a nice Human versus Human mirror. Miou turned out to be the stronger of the two, something that Insomnia wrote in the pre-match comments.
- He's got a great understandment of the human mirror matchup and for me it will be hard to surprise him, he says. But Miou said that Insomnia was the favourite; "He won most of our games in Ladder and other tourneys, so my chances aren't too big".
