After a three-day event, the World Esports Festival is over, and Grubby came out as the winner after defeating ToD in the Grand Finals, 2-1.
The World eSports Festival 2006 (WEF 2006), a gaming tournament formed out of a union between the two Asian countries of China and Korea. Held in QinDao in China, eight WarCraft 3 players travelled to the event to fight for the first prize ($6,000) and for honor. The event is holding over 25 gamers invited to compete in Counter Strike 1.6 and Warcraft 3 tournaments with an overall prize money of $30000.
The WarCraft 3 tournament ended just a couple of hours ago, where the Dutch Orc player 4K^Grubby took down his clanmate 4K^ToD like so many times before in official tournaments. Wining with 2-1, Grubby takes the throne of the World Esports Festival champion, and a hefty sum of 6,000 USD. Below are full

Congratulations to Grubby, who once again takes another heavy title. The match for third place was also played, to settle which player to win $1,000 or $500. Winner of that match was the Chinese Night Elf player suhO, defeating SaSe with 2-1.
