The Electronic Sports World Cup organisation hauled up its curtains over the modalities of participation in the upcoming 2010's WarCraft 3 edition of the prestigious event. Thus far, the attendees list has amounted to 26 competitors with only 9 names brought to light.The French organisation has set a hitherto unseen qualification pattern for this year's competition. Apart from granting tickets for autoberthed players from ESWC Masters and national qualification winners, 7 spots have been opened for players with no regional finals in their respective countries (with a few exceptions). All the latter players had to do was to apply directly for the spots and hope to be picked up by the ESWC staff.
TED won't attend the qualifier
The Korean qualifier will yield 2 players while the Chinese one will make room for three. No date has been released concerning the former, but the latter is set to kick off on 31st May, bereft of the Undead ace Zheng 'TED' Zhuo who announced his absence in a recent interview on tatazu.com for being unpaid the prizemoney earned in the last event.
