After having seen their two-time gold medalist Xiaofeng "Sky" Li get eliminated the Chinese morale got dented. But it got bulged back when it was clear that Xuwen "InFi" Wang and Weiliang "Fly100% Lu will appear in tomorrow's grand final.

Dmitriy "Happy" Kostin, last year's bronze medalist, could defeat a very aggressive Sky with impressive micro management which featured an invisible death knight stealing the item drop from an ogre magi on Echo Isles. Happy's eventual gargoyle and destroyer push could thrash Sky's gyrocopter army.

The second map, Turtle Rock, Sky's all-in strategy with a quick Firelord push with towers and dual barracks fell hard to a confident Happy.

Happy then eliminated his European buddy Yoan "ToD" Merlo in the quarter final who had disposed René "Ciara" Krag in the prior stage. Happy's good form was well conserved, and could see himself eliminate yet another Human player.

His 'killing humans' run had a anticlimatic ending for the Undead and Euro fans when an on-song InFi could obliterate Happy's Undead army to reach the grand final.

Home-field player InFi shocked many when he knocked out Jae Ho "Moon" Jang in the quarter finals prior to his match against Happy. This was the first victory over the 'fifth race' for the World Elite player who will have to showcase his full capacity against the first S-class Orc he stumbles upon in the grand final.

Reigning champion, Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen had an earlier exit that many had predicted. After an easy two-oh over Mikhail 'xelsing' Illyinchyk in the octofinals, Grubby suffered a tough 1-2 loss over Orc rival June "Lyn" Park.

The 'Flying Dutchman' dominated the first game steamrolling an out of step Lyn, but lost the second game after a break even battle. The third game showcased another very close and tough game in which the Korean emerged on top.

When it seemed luck and the Orc mirror god was on Lyn's side, he weighed little against an undefeated Fly100% who seems to have his mind set to nothing but the gold.

Tomorrow the World Cyber Games concludes as Fly100% takes on InFi in a thrilling final, and the battle for the bronze will kick off between Lyn and Happy.
