Recently retired Dae Hui "FoV" Cho says in an interview with fragster.de that eSports needs to become cleaner and fairer.
He brings up the many times he stood without a salary even when in contract with teams.
"When teams didn't pay my salaries or stole prize money I didn't try hard enough to get my money. I just believed them that if I waited, I would get my money. But that was not true."
"It's not easy for you to ge your salary or prize money, even if you win or have a contract. So I think I should have been harder. Now it's too late. Even if teams like wNv didn't pay their players a lot of times, they are still in eSport," says FoV about wrong decisions during his active eSport career.
Dae Hui "FoV" Cho also reveals that 4Kings failed in delivering his salary.
"Sometimes I didn't get my salary for four or five months. But when I left 4Kings, I got almost everything I was missing. But, as I heard, Creolophus had bigger problems with that," says FoV.
Despite all the blows FoV came across, he still would like to come back to eSports after his military service.
"It would be very nice to come back to eSport, but first I have to finish my military service. And that takes a long time. I hope that when I come back to eSport, I still have my spot here," he said.
Judging on the number of good luck wishes and farewell posts from the fans, the spot should remain when FoV returns.
