The European National Championship just got a step closer to the end, with one of the semi-finals matches already played. The defending champion, Germany, was one step away from making it to the grand finals in order to defend their title.
That chance was taken from them as they fell to the Danish team. Both these team last met one another in their first match of the main round, where Denmark also walked away the victor from that one.
Denmark's second encounter looked to be tougher then their first one with Daniel "ixi" Spenst (formerly known as XlorD) playing for Germany this time around. Although ixi did win a match his teammate Stefan "dArk" Lehmann lost both and the 2v2 was not strong enough as they were not able to take the third map from the Danish duo.
