After a disappointing start for the last season's runner-up, they bounced back in their second match of the season with a convincing 4-1 victory against Romania.
Team Finland unleashed a dual Orc lineup for the 2v2. It worked fairly well for them as they were able to win against Romania's Orc&Nightelf with a score of 2-1.
One noticeable difference in Finland's line-up for this match was that Juha-Matti "Satiini" Bäckström did not play. Instead it was Santeri "Naama" Lahtinen, an Orc player from myR, to take the stand. Although he was not able to beat NightEnd, he still took a point for Finland with his 2-0 victory against todea "fishlips" bogdan.
Samuli "elfittaja" Sihvonen secured two victories for Finland without dropping one map. His victory against fishlips wasn't too much of a surprise and he played well against Silviu "NightEnD" Lazar, beating him with his original Human race and due to an unfortunate event for NightEnd in the Undead mirror, the game turned to Elfi's favor.
Finland's victory against Romania concludes the second round of ENC 2009. Finland is now ranked 2nd in Group A, trailing Sweden by only one point.
