The third week of League Play will commence today with a lot of Greek Dota2 action, Ad Finem being the protagonists.
It was announced yesterday that Ad Finem will replace Natus Vincere at DreamLeague Season 6, inheriting their 1-1 score from the previous weeks. The Boston Major European qualifiers winners will have six series, 12 games to play this week and must win at least half of them to contest the top four spots in the group and advance into the LAN playoffs.
DreamLeague conducted a short interview with Ad Finem’s manager, Mike 'Madao' Chatzialexiou right after it was decided the Greeks will replace Na’Vi, and asked him about team’s confidence entering the competition with only one win. Madao said “I don’t believe it’s bad, it’s like starting from zero, I hope we can manage to break into the top 4.” He also mentioned Virtus Pro, the other European qualified team to the Boston Major, and Escape Gaming as being the biggest threats for Ad Finem in the League Play. Escape and VP are currently sitting second and third respectively in the league and a victory over Ad Finem this week can consolidate their top four finish.
As The Imperial also have three game series scheduled this week, DreamLeague invited the Danish commentator and analyst Jacob 'Maelk' Toft-Andersen to join the broadcast team.
