Two intense semifinal clashes on 12 July have determined the grand finalists for the 2025 Esports World Cup for VALORANT. After all four teams clashed head-to-head, it was 
Fnatic and 
Team Heretics that outplayed their opponents, 
Paper Rex, and 
Gen.G Esports, in dominant fashion to book their spots in the Grand Final.
All four teams did well in the Quarterfinals, executing 2-0 sweeps against their opponents, with Paper Rex taking out 
Sentinels, Fnatic defeating 
Karmine Corp., Team Heretics overpowering
BBL Esports, and Gen.G taking out 
NRG, to make it to the Semifinals.
Fnatic defeat Paper Rex (2-1)
Fnatic delivered a reverse sweep against Paper Rex to secure their place in the finals. The series began on Sunset, where Paper Rex started strong with a 13–10 win. However, Fnatic bounced back immediately. On Ascent, they shut down Paper Rex 13–3, conceding only three rounds. The decider map, Split, saw Fnatic close it out 13–8, controlling the tempo and never letting Paper Rex recover. Fnatic’s composure under pressure paid off, earning them the series 2–1 and a chance to lift the trophy.
Team Heretics take down Gen.G Esports (2–1)
On the other side of the bracket, Team Heretics outlasted Gen.G Esports in another three-map battle. Heretics started the series with a confident 13–7 win on Ascent, with a solid 7–5 defensive half followed by a clean attacking run. Gen.G responded on Haven, controlling the map early and closing it out 13–8 to level the series. But on Lotus, Heretics left no doubt, they dominated 16–6, putting up six rounds on attack and locking things down on defence. With the win, Team Heretics advanced to the Grand Final and will face Fnatic for the championship.
With ther wins, the VALORANT 2025 Esports World Cup Grand Final will feature Fnatic and Team Heretics, which will take place on 13 July at 7:15 PM SGT/4:00 AM PST.
