The team saw a perfect run in the tournament.

Made in Thailand won the first ever AfreecaTV VALORANT SEA Invitational where sixteen invited teams from across Southeast Asia competed to win the grand prize. The tournament, which ran from 29 November until 4 December, saw big names of the ASEAN region compete.

Made in Thailand (MiTH) had an almost perfect run throughout the tournament, where they only fell to Bigetron Arctic in the group stage – the only mark in their run of the event. In the playoffs, they manage to beat teams like FW Esports and BOOM Esports to book themselves in the Grand Final.

Nantapol “Kongared” Boonying finished as the grand final MVP, securing 54 kills across three maps with a 242 Average Combat Score (ACS) in the series.

The grand final started on Breeze, where MiTH immediately showed their dominance by leading the first half with four points and cleaning the map by round 17 to win the first map 13-4. In the second map, Ascent, both teams played to a 12-12 tie by the end of round 24, which resulted in extra time. There, MiTH immediately swooped in and leap-frogged over Bigetron to win the map 14-12.

In the last map, Fracture saw Bigetron leading in the first half by two points but then squandered the lead as MiTH easily cleaned house and ended the match by round 21, scoring 13-8.

MiTH walked away with $7,500 in cash out of the AfreecaTV Valorant SEA Invitational’s $25,000 prize pool. Bigetron Arctic did not walk away empty-handed as they bagged $3,750 for their hard work. Third place went to BOOM Esports after they defeated SR Nacague.
