Sentinels signs Tarik as a content creator but will be on standby for the professional roster if needed.
One of the famous names in North America's VALORANT content creation has just announced that he has joined Sentinels. The former CS:GO player will now create content under the Sentinels banner, but at the same time, will be available for the team’s professional roster if the team needs him.
With over 2.2 million followers, Tarik is one of the most popular Twitch streamers on the platform. His average Twitch viewership is currently standing at 22,000 viewers over the past week, making him one of the most popular streamers there according to Twitch Tracker.
One of the catalysts that skyrocketed his popularity was his switch to VALORANT. He streams both his ranked matches as well as co-streaming major international events. He has accumulated almost 100 million views in total thus far.
Tarik’s signing marks the second time Sentinels acquired a top VALORANT streamer onboard their organisation this year. Shroud was picked up earlier this year for the North American LCQ but unfortunately did not manage to deliver a win for the team to qualify for Champions. The effectiveness of a second streamer acquisition will need to be seen as one point of data is not enough for the time being.
