No English broadcast for Proleague 12-13

SC2 caster Erik "DoA" Lonnquist just confirmed that OGN will not be streaming KeSPA's Proleague, meaning the matches will be available with Korean commentary only.

Originally, the streaming responsibilities were to be divided between OGN, who would broadcast on weekends, and KeSPA's own broadcasting platform, which would take care of weekday matches. According to Doa, however, a week ago OGN were approached by KeSPA and were informed that the association would be running a weekends broadcast of its own, simultaneous to OGN's. A KeSPA-employed caster would've also been sent as a partner to MonteCristo and Doa, who have also partnered up for OGN's League of Legends tournament.

- "Naturally OGN was upset about this and Monte and I were a bit reluctant to tri-cast with someone we'd never worked with before," says Doa. "OGN went back to have talks yesterday and today with KeSPA and things did not go well. KeSPA has also been approaching english casters about the job, but so far none have accepted that I'm aware of. Not surprising."

This means that for the time being, Proleague VODs will be in Korean only which will surely not be to foreign fans' liking. Although Doa does not call for a boycott in his statement, some form of upcoming community pressure is certainly not out of the question.
