With the three newly revealed spots, one of Europe's largest offline events has its 2012 schedule finalized. The season will start in late August and finish at the end of November.
In comparison to 2011, this year's season of DreamHack will have one event more, going up to a total of five. In addition to the two major events DH Summer and DH Winter traditionally held in Jönköping, Sweden, the tournament will return to Stockholm and Valencia and will also visit Bucharest, Romania for the first time.

DreamHack Open: Summer – June 16-19
DreamHack Open: Valencia – September 21-23
DreamHack Open: Bucharest – October 27-28
DreamHack Open – Grand Finals:

Soon, there will be more information about what the "DreamHack Open" brand will entail exactly and the only thing mentioned in the announcement is that this is DreamHack's "new and more improved eSports format, for both professionals and amateurs".
