A new coalition has just been found between the foreign team eSahara, Korean-based Old Generations and gaming peripheral manufacturer Razer. The partnership is aimed towards providing foreigners with more opportunities to live and train in Korea and for Koreans to travel and compete outside their country.

eSahara has one of the younger SC2 rosters on the scene. Formed in July 2011, eSahara's line-up saw a considerable growth in the last few months, signing Korean and foreign players alike, including names like Naama, DeathAngel, BabyKnight and the ex-Prime members Check, HongUn and Maka.

oGs, on the other hand, is among the first Korean pro-teams that appeared on the SC2 stage and has enjoyed long periods of consistent performance. Its line-up hosts players such as BroodWar legend NaDa, Code S runner-ups TOP and InCa and MLG Orlando bronze medalist TheSTC.

With the financial help of Razer, the players of both teams are to have more opportunities to appear at tournament events, both Korean and foreign-bound, and they will compete under either the tag "eSahara.oGs" (for international events) or "oGs.eSahara" (for Korean events).

Robert Krakoff, President, Razer USA Wrote:

Razer is proud to be partnering with these incredibly talented teams, eSahara and oGs. Other than the phenomenal Counter Strike and DotA2 line-up, they are bringing in a vast talent pool of StarCraft II player. With our commitment to this partnership, Razer will be doing its part to see an increased presence of the high-skilled players of oGs in international events, and an emphasis on a professional training environment for eSahara’s international players.

oGs team manager Kyu Hoon "Spunky" Hwang also came out with a statement regarding the present oGs/Team Liquid cooperation, assuring it will remain unaffected by the newly struck deal between his team, Razer and eSahara.

Spunky, oGs team manager Wrote:
Our partnership with eSahara is more like what we had with sk-gaming during 2011. Although our business partnership did end a way I did not want it to towards the end with sk-gaming, we are looking to have a successful year with eSahara where both parties can benefit lots. I love eSahara's CEO Ryad, very cool guy, and I hope all of you look forward to what our partnership can show through out 2012 for the improvement of both teams!
