Fredrik 'MaDFroG' Johansson Profile

Fredrik "MaDFroG" Johansson must rank as one of the more famous gamers of all time. He first accomplished a bronze medal as part of team Sweden at the 2001 World Cyber games in StarCraft: Broodwar. He then became one of the most influential and popular Undead players in Warcraft III. He won a gold medal at the 2003 Blizzard WorldWide Invitational and a silver medal at ESWC 2004 competing favorably with top players in South Korea at the time. He was known for his individual and creative game play. Johansson was voted the eSports Player of 2004. Johansson was born September 26th, 1984 in Gothenburg, Sweden where he currently resides.

In 2005, Johansson lost his drive in Warcraft III, retired, and ventured into online poker. In 2007, he returned to Warcraft3 competition in 2007. He returned with SK-Gaming, who he had worked with before.
"I just felt like playing again, nothing big or serious, not yet at least. WE is a great clan with many good players and good manners, so it's a great place to start playing again. I have been playing a bit the past months but just the ladder and now I am very interested to try my skills among the best players in some time!"
In September, 2010 he announced his intention to take StarCraft2 seriously by becoming the first SK-Gaming SC2 sponsored player. In early 2011, they parted ways citing an inability to come to terms due to Johansson's mixed results.
