This summer's event, starting 16th of June in Elmia in Jönköping, Sweden, will be full of gamers from around the world. Today DotA had itself a huge boost as the prize money has just been announced to all the games.

DreamHack is the world's largest LAN festival and GosuGamers will be there hosting the StarCraft, WarCraft and DotA tournaments.
Several updates in the prize sums this year. All prices this year are without taxes so that they will be comparable to other LANs. That means clans that are backed up by real companies can get the sums as displayed above, whereas private persons will have to subtract taxes (~30%), as is the standard on most LANs out there. That means, however, that when comparing these prizes to last year's one has to take into account that these are ~30% higher.
DotA had itself a massive boost in prize money due to the 300+ participants in last event's tournament. WarCraft is up at 20,000 and StarCraft remains at around 13,000 SEK.
The event is at 16th-19th of June 2007 and the ticket release is the 23rd of March, 00.00 CET. Be there!
