SK Telecom T1 with eight nominations in the Korea e-Sports Awards

SKT's League of Legends team celebrate after winning Season 3 World Championship

The StarCraft 2 and League of Legends rosters of SKT scored eight nominations out of all ten categories in the Korea e-Sports Awards. Winners will be drawn in three days' time on February 7th.

The StarCraft 2 categories are four, one for each race and one for best team. The League of Legends categories are six, covering all five roles - AD, Top, Support, Mid and Jungle - as well as one for best team overall.

Expectedly, SKT's League of Legends team scored nominations all over the place. Every single one of their players is nominated in his respective category as did the team as a whole - understandably, considering their period of dominance that ended with a triumph at the Season 3 World Championship.

SKT are the most nominated team for the StarCraft 2 awards as Soulkey and Rain scored nominations for best Zerg and best Protoss, respectively. The competition in all the categories shapes up to be a tough one, however, as players like Dear, sOs, Maru, Innovation and Jaedong will also be fighting for jury's votes.
