With the conclusion of the final weekend to determine the summer LCS split for both North America and Europe, Dignitas and CLG have secured their place for the next ten weeks. To start the night off, team Dignitas was faced against his opposing team which featured none other than previously benched player 'LOCUST'. Though the series would start off with Dignitas having an insane comeback towards the opposition, their experience would shine through and Dignitas would pull out on top. Only one game of the series was taken away from Dignitas by Team Summon before Team Dignitas pulled out a rather decisive victory. The game went as planned, as the popular vote was over 80% in the majority of Team Dignitas.
The more uncertain one of the night, however, was Counter Logic Gaming vs. Azure Cats. With only a 55% to 45% vote in favor of CLG due to their recent performance and inconsistency, Counter Logic Gaming was looking to have a hard time after losing in several sets of scrim to the team of their former founder and mid laner Bigfatjiji. Claiming that the team was "stronger than Vulcun" by HotshotGG and having lost to Vulcun in the playoffs for the Spring Season, Counter Logic Gaming's play came back refreshing and ever and reforged the use of some old champions such as Hotshot's Nidalee, Doublelift's Urgot, and more. With some stylistic changes and confidence, CLG swept Azure Cats in an extremely convincing 3-0, looking to be bringing back their Season 1 roots of dominance and split pushing.
