LCS All-Stars full details

Yesterday Riot summarized the details regarding LCS All-Stars Shanghai.

The Shanghai LCS All-Star tournament starts on May, 24th. It includes five teams in total - Europe, North America, China, Korea and Southeast Asia.

The first round of the tournament will face North America against China, while Europe take on Korea. Southeast Asia gets a direct spot in round two. The two losers of round one matches will face each other for a chance to continue in the tournament.

Except the standard tournament there will be All-Star skill competitions between the different laners. On a custom map, with specific rules each of the laners will be able to face their counter parts in a 1 vs 1 match. As expected the Adc and support will be facing together in a 2 vs 2.

Except the prize and glory, the top team will get an extra spot for their regions at the World Championship. In addition the top four teams gets a bye into the elimination rounds, while the last team will not have this protection and of their league representatives will have to fight it out in the group stages.

Southeast Asia gets a bye into the semifinals of the All-Star tournament due to their success in Season 2, which means they are directly protected of taking the fifth place and the number one team of their region is guaranteed a spot into the Season 3's World Championship elimination rounds.
