EMS One announces separate American qualifiers

EMS One will be hosting a separate North American qualifiers for their upcoming summer event. The qualifying cup stage for the North American division is set to begin on the 11th of May and will follow the same format as the European's.

ESL has announced a separate EMS One tournament specially hosted for North American teams and will follow the same format and rules for their European cups.

Teams will accummulate points through four cup stages in which the top eight will move on into the groupstage. The teams will be placed into two groups of four and play a round robin to determine the top two finishers in respective groups. The top two placers will qualify for the playoffs where the winner will be receiving free air travel to EMS One Summer later this year.

The winner of each cup will also be receiving $500 courtesy of Need for Seat. The first cup is set to begin on the 11th of May

Dota 2 RaidCall Cup #1 - May 11th/12th - $500
Dota 2 RaidCall Cup #2 - May 18th/19th - $500
Dota 2 RaidCall Cup #3 - May 25th/26th - $500
Dota 2 RaidCall Cup #4 - June 1st/2nd - $500
Dota 2 Group Stage - June 5th/6th/7th
Dota 2 Playoffs - June 8th/9th


Interested North American teams may sign up for individual cup stages here.

EMS One announced details for the European qualifiers on the 2nd of May hinting a different qualifying stages for American teams. JoinDOTA also received information that there may be an Asian qualifier although EMS has not made any comments regarding the matter.

No North American teams qualified for the last season for EMS One offline final with many users stating that the teams are lagging on European server.
