The second installment of the Flash Dota 2 League is upon us as the tournament is all set to go at Alienware Arena, Singapore this weekend.

In this season of FD2L, Flash has limited the tournament format to only Open and Pro in which teams participating in the Pro Category are not allowed to sign-up for the Open Category. The reason for the change is to avoid another Zenith versus First Departure in three separate grand finals.

The Open Category will begin on the 4th of May with 29 teams signed up. Some of the more notable teams are Flash's newly acquired Dota 2 team, MyonMyon, and girls team, Asterisk*.

The Pro Category on the other hand, is set to begin on Sunday with four teams confirmed for participation.

Teams in Pro Category:

Singapore Zenith
Singapore First Departure
Singapore Grass
Singapore Neolution.Int
Singapore TBA
Singapore TBA
Singapore TBA
Singapore TBA

The format of both the categories are available here. The livestream of FD2L will be available through Flash TV.

The winner of the Pro Category will walk away with $1,000 in a winner takes all fashion.
