iG and WE still lead the nation after W7D1

After an absolutely incredible series to end StarsWar League between WE and iG, the two teams are still kicked into gear and dominating their region.

The first game of the night would feature Wings of Aurora fighting off against Team OMG. Wings of Aurora began by taking an early lead against OMG in the first few minutes of the game. The results of this were quite unexpected as OMG has shown incredibly strong performances against teams like iG and WE.

After a brief pause, WOA was able to kick themselves back into gear, managing to take a dragon and secure their own jungle, even if behind in kills. OMG established dominance by being aggressive in every fight with WoA in a defensive position, allowing OMG to take the more aggressive approach and, therefore, take the game.

Invictus Gaming would retain their dominance following into the second game of the evening in China against their Royal foes. The first 10 minutes would reek of passivity with Royal Club being careful not to drop the game in the waste early in the laning phase. Unfortunately, the first dragon fight would not end well for Royal Club, getting caught up in an insurmountable amount of AoE and giving up 4 kills in the midst of a single game changing teamfight.

That's not pretty.

The rest of the game would not look so cheerful for Royal Club. They held off quite well, but never lost the disadvantage, being down 12-5 as well as being down 4 towers by the 20 minute mark. Invictus Gaming showed utter domination and control, diving into the base and securing the victory as the game went on.

LM vs. Spider would prove to most likely be the best eye candy for viewers with extreme comebacks and impressive plays from both ends. While spider looked to dominate early in the game, they would not be able to hold their dominance with a feisty LM unwilling to give up in the fight. Spider pushed the aggression a little too haphazardly and ended up in a pickle as LM overran them spawning from the fountain.

Mundo chases as he pleases.

After cleaning up the mess, LM chased and obliterated Spider, even chasing them to the baron pit and beyond but securing all the kills in doing so. The overzealous nature of Spider ultimately led to their demise and they were unable to secure their lead. LM quickly overran them and took the victory.

Last but certainly not least, we had World Elite vs. the up and coming terror Positive Energy. Though World Elite slipped a bit from their "undefeatable, best in the world bar none" throne, it looked like they were definitely picking up their play to whole new levels in this game. Misaya did not make the same mistake twice and showed an awesome performance on his Twisted Fate, not taking another loss after his first alleged loss on Twisted Fate in competitive play.

WE tearing the inhibitor to shreds.

Positive Energy didn't take a stand at any point in the gaming, barely defending objectives until World Elite rampaged with total and utter control. Utilizing the help of their global mid, they were able to secure objectives and therefore bully around Positive Energy, not wasting any time to strut their dominance to end the first day this week of the LPL.
