Dignitas vs QPandas once again postponed due to DDoS

Dignitas and QPad Red Pandas game in G-1 League Western qualifiers has once again been plagued by DDoS attacks. The tournament organizer has decided to postpone the second game possibly to 07:00 CEST tomorrow.

The match-up between Dignitas and QPad Red Pandas has once again been postponed due to DDoS issues.

The DDoS attacked first happened to Fogged two minutes into the second game but his ping stabilized shortly after. The game was resumed but to be paused again five minutes in and at this point, Fogged was unable to continue playing.

Dignitas brought Solace as their stand-in and after attempt to re-create the First Blood was made, Aui_2000 started experience lag issues and disconnected from the game. Initially, Dignitas wanted to bring in Sexybamboe as a ringer but G-1 decided to postpone the game once again.

G-1 has not confirmed when the game will be played again but is expected to start again at 07:00 CEST tomorrow. Stay tuned to Gosugamers as we update you as soon as information becomes available.

The first game was won by Dignitas.

The first round two game of the G-1 Western qualifiers will begin with Liquid versus Absolute Legends at 10:00 CEST. The second round will also be played in a double elimination format. Liquid is going into the match being the heavy favourite at 76% of the total branches betted.

It is unknown if the DDoS attacks will continue during round two but we at Gosugamers sincerely hope it stops.

QPandas vs Dignitas

Game 1

QPandas was off to a great start in game one. Just as the Bottle was arriving for the Batrider, Tiny tossed the smoked Shadow Demon forward to kill off the courier. Batrider would have given away the First Blood if it weren't for his bizarre lane partner, Clockwerk. The First Blood was given away by Gyrocopter on the top lane two minutes later.

Despite giving away the courier and the First Blood, Dignitas was still up by 1,000 gold because their carries are farming a lot better. The off-lane Weaver was up to 71 creep kills by 12 minutes. Weaver opted for the Orchid of Malevolence for the extra silence they need to keep the Magnus down.

Magnus struggled to buy his Blink Dagger and that allowed Weaver to dive past towers without much worry. This was further exemplified when Magnus missed his RP in a team fight near the Rosh pit. QPandas went way past their defensive line for a gank but Dignitas was ready for a counter-gank and destroyed them before heading into Roshan. The Aegis was given to Weaver but they Dignitas lost it just shortly after.

With Dignitas having most of the map control, Tiny struggled to find farm and he lagged behind the net worth leader, Gyrocopter by 5,000 gold by 30 minutes. Although QPandas picked the Clockwerk and Bane off, Dignitas just walked up QPandas' high ground and started sieging the barracks. Bad positioning by QPandas allowed the barracks to go down. Dignitas waited for the Roshan and took the game.
