BigPoint Battle April begins

BigPoint Battle April will begin today without two of its former winners. Eight qualified teams will battle eight invited teams for the €1,500 first prize, a €500 increase from the last edition.

The third installment of BigPoint Battle will begin today after five rounds of qualifiers finished yesterday. No big upsets happened mostly due to the fact that the top Europeans teams did not bother going through the qualifiers.

Na`Vi won the first BigPoint Battle two months ago after they defeated Team Liquid, which came into the second BigPoint Battle full of steam, and defeated Mousesports for the title. Both teams are not participating in this edition of the tournament.

All the games of the main event will be played in a best-of three including the grand final which will be played at 21:00 CEST tomorrow.

The winner in this edition will be walking away with €1,500, a €500 increase from the last edition and the runner-up will have to settle for €500.
