Chains Stack takes out RisingStars

Rattlesnake is the first team to join the invited teams in Phase 3. The Chinese impressed with superior performance and are looking strong.

Game 1

It is Xiatouji playing for RStars, not Prettyhaw, sorry for the inconvenience.

Both teams opted for trilanes with Chains Stack going aggressive with theirs, laning their Anti-Mage on the safelane. C.SK won the toplane, but JoHnNy on the Dark Seer had a tough time in the midlane against air's QoP.

The game was at a rather slow pace with both teams picking up some kills. C.SK however got the better trade off as Chains was freefarming on his Anti-Mage. C.SK then opted to gank and fight with four heroes, while Chains split-pushed. The map control was in C.SK's favor, but the SEA mix did not profit properly, giving RisingStars space to farm up.

A good teamfight on the botlane gave the Chinese a window of opportunity to come back into the game as they wiped out four enemy heroes. They could however not profit as they overextended themselves in the next teamfight, fighting without Void's Chronosphere and missing out on two kills. C.SK's advantage in terms of gold and experience was too big and a won fight at the Roshpit not only secured Aegis, but also the win as C.SK breached highground and took raxes without breaking a sweat.

Game 2

Once again, C.SK picked Anti-Mage and RStars countered by picking up a midgame heavy line-up with QoP and Storm Spirit being direct counters towards the carry. Things started out bad for the Chinese when Clockwerk gave away two early kills towards Chains' AM, but RisingStars grouped up early on to gank Dragon Knight. It worked out and showcased a lot of their burst damage potential.

C.SK responded accordingly and Chains opted for a Vanguard instead of a Battlefury, slowing down his farm a bit but tanking up a lot. He managed to survive a gank and C.SK turned it around, killing off two retreating heroes. Both Orchids from RStars were rendered useless and only the supports from C.SK proved to be killable, whereas AM was too strong to take on.

The game dragged on and C.SK showcased the weakness in RStars line-up: The missing physical damage output. In addition, levels on crucial heroes such as KotL or Clock were missing, so teamfights were heavily in favor of the SEA mix. C.SK didn't give RStars any chances, taking game 2 in a very convincing fashion.
