LGD.Int and VG fifth and sixth team through to Ro8

LGD.Int and Vici Gaming will be the fifth and sixth team to cross into the Ro8 of G-1 League. The final day of the Ro16 will begin at 08:00 CET tomorrow between Singaporean rivals, First Departure and Zenith.

Game one between LGD.Int and NeoES.Int was an easy affair. It only took NeoES.Int 19 minutes before throwing the towel to LGD.Int's relentless pushes.

Brax's Gyrocopter was off to a flying start in the off-lane alongside Leshrac and Shadow Demon. They got the First Blood against Sand King and started plowing through their defenses causing the Lone Druid to lose his Spirit Bear twice in the sixth minute.

It was all downhill from there for NeoES.Int as LGD.Int capitalized on their early lead and took down all of NeoES.Int's outer towers within 12 minutes. LGD.Int's lead in gold climbed up to a whooping amount of 10,000 as they strolled into NeoES.Int's base for the win.

In game two, LGD.Int was once again off to a great start propelled by Templar Assassin and Dark Seer's great farm in the off-lane. Despite having such a tremendous laning phase, NeoES.Int was able to claw their way back into the game by capitalizing on LGD.Int's overextension all throughout mid-game.

NeoES.Int's Queen of Pain only died once in the entire game at the 14th minute and quickly climbed to a Godlike streak with a 16-0 run in 40 minutes. This created space and time for Lifestealer to farm up an Abyssal Blade and Assault Curraiss which won them the game.

LGD.Int returned to their former self in game three. LGD.Int established a kill score lead very early into the game. The kill score was up to 8-1 in favour of the Europeans by 8 minutes and LGD.Int never looked back. LGD.Int grouped at the 10th minute mark and won engagements after engagements and ended the game in 19 minutes.

In the match-up between Vici Gaming and Australian team, RILIMIN, VG opted for Shadow Fiend on CTY and he quickly went to work picking up the Shadow Blade by 9 minutes and shortly after, his trademark Mask of Madness. The game spiralled out of control for RILIMIN considering their carry Gyrocopter does not have enough damage output to take on all of VG altogether.

Game two was pretty much similar to game one with the game starting out slow and VG came exploding to RILIMIN in mid-game. Despite having the global gank combination of Wisp, Nature's Prophet and Chaos Knight, RILIMIN could not find much opportunity to gank VG. VG's overfarmed Lifestealer was also a cause to worry for RILIMIN as he was so farmed he could almost take on the whole of RILIMIN by 20 minutes.

Lifestealer infested in Bounty Hunter was almost a big concern for RILIMIN as they lost in straight games to VG.

So far, six teams have made it to Ro8 of the second phase of G-1 League Asia qualifier.

The next match of the Ro16 will be starting tomorrow at 08:00 CET with the much anticipated of clash between Zenith and First Departure. The newly reshuffled TongFu will also play Neolution.TH to conclude the end of the Ro16.

The top four placers of the phase two will qualify into phase three. The organizers have not decided on the format of phase three but told Gosugamers that we will be the first to know.
