KT Rolster B narrowly claim MLG World Championship

After a nail-biting set between Gambit Gaming and KT Rolster B, one finally comes out as the World Champions in a deathly close match.

In game 1, the international match that everyone has been waiting for erupts. KT Rolster B shows they are not playing games right off the bat and show they mean business. They take the first tower at an astonishing 3:30 into the game, which is then counteracted by Gambit Gaming picking up a dragon of their own afterwords.

As the game goes on, KT Rolster B pulls way ahead in map control and objectives, but Gambit doesn't lag far behind in gold. However, Gambit Gaming was most likely not aware of this fact and played from a defensive standpoint for the majority of the game. Being the bullies they are, KT Rolster B took steadfast advantage of this by punishing Gambit greatly. Most shockingly was InSec running circles around Diamondprox, being a primary threat and carrying from the jungle.

It wasn't long before the jungler of KT Rolster B could simply pop any squishy on the lineup of Gambit Gaming and after showing utter domination, they took the first game of the night.

A very shocked and distressed Gambit Gaming after game 1.

Gambit Gaming was down but not out and showed their experience in withholding their composure. KTB carried over their momentum from the game previous, but Gambit Gaming were not going to show a normal reaction and fall into a shrump. They fought their hearts out and put on a good show for the love of the fans. Diamond reinfused the faith in a viable Udyr in a team that could kite him, as well Genja bravely carrying on Kog"maw against a Nasus.

Last game, InSec was showing Diamondprox a lesson, but Diamondprox had a message back to him: "I'm still king of the jungle." A completely different Gambit Gaming showed up this match and plowed Gambit Gaming down.

As with all of the greatest series', they always go until the very end and this game was no excpetion. Both teams steered clear of emotional debt in the performance of their games by keeping a clear head after their defeats and this game was perhaps the best example of them all.

Alex Ich showed a dominating and even legendary Zed, giving InSec a taste of his own medicine. The game was back and forth and very difficult to determine a winner at any stage of the game -- that was until a rather grim baron call on the side of Gambit Gaming which would turn everything around. Attempting to get a little too greedy with the baron paved the road to them all dropping around the baron pit like flies and turning the game over completely.

Just prior, fights were going back and forth with near aces on both sides. When KT Rolster B actually acquired baron, Darien bravely approached a fight that would narrowly lose them the game after the regenerative aura from Baron kept KT Rolster B sustained enough to turn it into a 4 for 1. Gambit Gaming fought bravely and has proven they can compete with the best of the Asians but fell at the end of the day to the dominating KT Rolster B, crowning them the MLG Dallas 2013 World Champions!
