The early game of game one started out really bad for MUFC. Vici Gaming had shown tremendous improvement since their debut in G-League especially on the warding division as they quickly seized map control by taking down multiple towers going into mid-game.
Although Queen of Pain picked up a relatively quick Scythe of Vsye, Vici Gaming could not engage into MUFC since they are almost always grouped up. Vici Gaming went for a mid push but was distracted by an engagement at their Queen of Pain on the top lane. VG's heroes arrived but a tad bit late and ended up getting picked off by MUFC. Only the Lifestealer remained. The kill score is now 13-20 in favour of VG.
MUFC was bold to go for the Roshan with VG just hiding in the corner and was punished severely for their misbehaviour. Both teams kited the team's carries but it was VG who came up on top after some massive miscalculation by Magnus and Faceless Void. Faceless Void bought back and died again.

The game quickly turned sour for the Malaysian team as VG took down the mid and bottom rax as Faceless Void was respawning. Despite having heavy farm on the Void, his farm seems like a waste with all of VG hero being able to kite the Void including the Lifestealer who picked up a Ghost Scepter. The revenge kill came as VG was retreating although it did took nearly 50 seconds for MUFC to take down the Lifestealer.
MUFC mounted for a push top and successfully picked off three of VG heroes. The whole of MUFC continued getting kited around by FY's Rubick single-handedly and the Malaysians had to retreat before they lose another hero to chase down the Rubick.
Another miscalculation by VG led to a big engagement at the bottom to which all of their heroes got trapped in the Chronosphere and died one by one. The Roshan however, was killed three minutes later by VG as MUFC had to back off or risk losing the game from a split push by the Queen of Pain. The Aegis was given to Lifestealer and Cheese to Rubick.
The game went on a big stand-off by 50 minutes with both teams not willing to make the first move. VG however, had the upperhand as they had more map control and thus more farm. Lifestealer picked up the Abyssal Blade at 55 minutes and took the Aegis after the Roshan kill. VG now have two cheese, both of them on the Rubick.
VG started getting sloppy as the game went into 65 minutes. Their heroes were constantly picked off and MUFC slowly gained their map control back despite having someone to teleport back to base to defend their throne. MUFC won two fights and VG ran out of money to buy back into the game. MUFC took game one.

Considering MUFC's Weaver was facing a trilane in the off-lane, he attempted to kill off VG's courier but unfortunately Shukuchi passed a creep wave. Brewmaster took the precaution and walked back to base to pick up his Bottle and Weaver moved back to the off-lane and got immediately killed by VG.
Despite having late-oriented heroes, MUFC was surprisingly on the offense as FzFz nearly killed four of VG's heroes as they were contending with him for the rune. Weaver came over to help and successfully killed the Brewmaster as Templar Assassin cleaned the rest of the heroes up. Shadow Fiend escaped on 60 hp.
Capitalizing on the small lead they had in the early game, MUFC took down Roshan uncontested and gave the Aegis to the Templar Assassin. A big fight broke out after that and although MUFC lost a few of their heroes early on, the Templar Assassin was too huge and played extremely well to clean up the battlefield.
With Templar Assassin drawing most of the attention in the battlefield, other heroes from MUFC started getting more farmed and took the easy win against VG.

The next game of the tournament will be between LGD.Int and NeoES.Orange. The game will begin at 14:30 CET and be streamed live on BeyondTheSummit's second channel.
