Fnatic.EU, No Tidehunter, Na'Vi, and Virtus Pro are the four still standing in EMS One Cup #3. Fnatic's victory in the semis may determine the number one spot going into the final cup.
The top contenders of EMS One are at it again as day one ends in Cup #3 and four of the initial 23 teams has made it to the semi-finals of the tournament.
The first semi-finals will be between the winner of Cup #2, No Tidehunter and Fnatic.EU while Na'Vi will look to reclaim their former lead in Cup #1 against Virtus.Pro. Both games will be played in a best-of-one format and the Grand Final will be played in a best-of three.

With a guaranteed 50 points each, the teams will be battling it out tonight to achieve a higher ranking prior to the final cup on the 11th of March.
Points per cup
1st: 100 points (+600$)
2nd: 75 points (+200$)
3-4th: 50 points (+100$)
5-8th: 25 points
9-16th: 10 points
17-24th: 5 points
At 150 points each, Na'Vi and VP will be fighting to tie the number one spot with No Tidehunter at 200 points.
No Tidehunter will be able to keep their lead if they manage to defeat Fnatic and move on to the finals with 225 points or 250 points.
Assuming that Fnatic defeats No Tidehunter in the semis, Nth's number one spot will be in jeopardy (or rather shared) if VP or Na'Vi wins the cup.
Team Empire (100) has decided not to participate in this cup for unknown reasons and will drop to fifth place at the conclusion of the cup. Empire made the semi-finals in both Cup #1 and Cup #2 and is currently on 100 points.
The groupstage will begin on the 18th of March
Gosugamers will be posting the full standings after the cup ends early tomorrow. In the mean time, stay tuned to stream by TobiWan and Epi at 19:00 CET for some more EMS One action.
