For the first 3 weeks of the North American Championship Series, Shiphtur, the AP carry of Good Game University, has had customs issues and has not been able to earn glory with his team and participate in the LCS. He will continue to be replaced with ZionSpartan in the midlane with Fat substituting in the top lane or ZionSpartan returning to the top lane with a talented individual substituting middle.

Hey everyone.More bad news... Shiphtur will not be able to join his team until 2-3 weeks later (around week 6) because his work permit will take that long to process according to Riot. The fact that customs is stopping him from entering the US from Canada is completely out of GGU's control and is a legal issue that will take time. It really disappointed our whole team and caught us off guard but none of us can really do anything about this besides do our best to adapt to the situation. We thank our fans for supporting us all this way through the thick and thin. We will still work hard despite our disadvantage. In the mean time, Shiphtur will be streaming more often so that you guys can still watch him if you would like. We know there are a lot of his fans out there. Sorry for all the disappointments but we will figure something out."
