Eizo cup is planned to be a monthly tournament series featuring 16 teams out of which eight will be invited and the other eight will be selected through qualifiers.
The invited eight teams will be up for reconsideration each month which means that being invited one month won't guarantee a team an invite for the next month's tournament. The other eight are going to be selected through Best-of-One open qualifiers. Both the qualifiers, and the main tournament are to be played in a single-elimination format. The qualifier for this month's tournament is to be held on 25th and 26th of February, with slots for up to 512 teams.
The main tournament is going to take place on 27th and 28th of February. All matches are played Best-of-Three, while the finals will be played Best-of-Five. The prize money for the first month is €1250 for first place and €500 for second place.
