The expected finalist for SEA League didn't fall short of expectations, as both won their respective semifinals match to set a date against each other on the Grand Finals.
The four teams who finished their groups with a 3-0 score won their quarterfinals match-ups without dropping a game. However, at least two teams will drop a game or more today, as those four paired up for SEA League's semifinals.
Neolution.Int vs Neolution.Orange
Blah picked up right where he went off the other game, playing a Nyx and completely controlling the game with it. Despite the Órange's Weaver racing off to a great start, NeoES.Int's offensive trilane of Lifestealer, AA and SD proved as too strong for the early game weakness of Orange's PL. After getting a rather quick gem, the game was secured by NeoES.Int. The game ended right before the 39-minute mark.
Neolution.Orange got sweet revenge though, following up that loss with 2 straight big wins. After being so successful on the first game, NeoES.Int's Lifestealer was shut down badly on the ensuing two games. The stand-in 'Kecik imba' played an impressive position one. His KDA for the last two games totaled to 24-1-19.
Neo.Orange advances, 2-1
Zenith vs First Departure
Before talking about the match-up itself, it is important to have a look at the teams' history first. These two Singaporean teams faced each other in the recent FD2L three times (Open Cup, Amateur Cup, Pro Cup) - always in the finals. Zenith won two of those while FD taking the Amateur Cup.
In the SEA League however, Zenith managed to convincingly defeated FD twice. Among those wins is a comfortable win even after trailing 0-4 to start the game. Zenith won on an average of 30 minutes per game.
Zenith advances, 2-0
